We are a mountain biking and adventure club for kids ages 7-14 and for all riding abilities. We are based in Auburn California and we ride the Auburn trails and Auburn Bike Park as well as the surrounding trails in Folsom, Nevada City, and the Tahoe area.

Lead Shredder and Founder, Josh Flexman, is a credentialed public school PE teacher in California. He is also a credentialed Waldorf Teacher for K-12th grades. He has a wilderness CPR certification, CPR certification, and is also a certified mountain bike coach.

Josh has raced and ridden mountain bikes and road bikes for 30+ years! Starting with trail riding in his birthplace of Marin County to Category 1 criterium racing on the East Coast, and even extending overseas with professional teams, the bike life has allowed him to race and ride all over the world.

Getting out on 2 wheels is not only a passion but a way of life to see the world through the trails.

At SSC, our mission is rooted in getting kids outdoors, exploring, riding, and in nature.
